How to inventory

Take the PC, make sure it has all the fundamental components (CPU, RAM, Graphics card if the CPU doesn't have an integrated one) and that everything is properly inserted (RAM, power supply, graphics card). Connect the PC to power, network, monitor, and mouse and keyboard. If the power supply has a power button, make sure it's ON, then turn on the PC. If it starts, launch Peracotta, generate the data, verify it! Sometimes, especially with RAM, peracotta can't find the correct info or might have garbage info. Make all necessary adjustments and then upload to Tarallo.

If it doesn't start, proceed cautiously to diagnose. When the PC starts, return first to peracotta and make sure everything is correct on tarallo. Pay attention to which components you change/move, movements from one PC/Box to another must be recorded on tarallo!

WARNING

If you realize that the repair takes more time than you have available, then before leaving, manually inventory the case on tarallo, mark the case with the sticker and put it away (so whoever comes after you doesn't find a half-disassembled PC on the table), and most importantly note down what you did (otherwise we'll repeat the same work 15 times).
